Temp to Hire Position 
$125,000 to $150,000/year

A clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on discovery and development of innovative, small molecule drugs that target signal transduction networks and ion channels for the treatment of cancer, inflammation, autoimmune diseases and metabolic disorders. These areas are aimed at generating first-best-early in class, compounds that are expected to offer novel therapeutic options for these significant unmet medical needs.  

Our client  operates as a virtual company leveraging the best efficiencies through outsourcing to globally reputed laboratories while progressing from pre-clinical to clinical development. The basic Research & Development operations is located in India with corporate office in Ft. Washington PA .     
Potential candidates can reside anywhere in the United States with convenient access to a major airport.  If the selected candidate resides outside of Philadelphia area, they will be required to travel to the offices in Ft. Washington, PA or Bridgewater, NJ for required meetings. 

Current and upcoming Clinical Trials will be held at (10) sites throughout the United States travel to those locations will be required.     

Position Purpose:

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: 

-          Responsible for study start-up activities including study feasibility to site initiation activities. The position will closely work with clinical research associates, regulatory and clinical science teams to ensure that the right sites are ready for study enrolment

-          On-going oversight of all activities in the active study phase. Supporting site management activities along with the CRAs, being available to sites to address operational challenges with respect to patient enrolment, study supplies, data capture, study logistics etc.

-          Ensure GCP compliance for all study related activities at sites by working closely with site monitors, clinical science, regulatory and clinical QA teams

-          Ensure on-going active project management with respect to budgets, timelines, quality of study deliverables

-          Be available for CRAs to solve operational challenges, review trip reports and ensure compliance to protocol and procedures

-          Supporting CRAs to ensure that patient data is entered into the EDC system on time and that all outstanding queries are resolved within acceptable time.

-          Co-monitoring visits as required along with CRAs to ensure quality of monitoring, coaching and mentoring and site relationship management

-          Ensure site budgets are negotiated and signed off and monitoring on-going budgetary compliance

-          Be available to help answer questions from IRBs, sites and regulatory agencies as required to meet study requirements

-          Ensure compliance to reporting of safety information from clinical sites to IRB, regulatory as appropriate
