Part-Time, Remote English Instructors needed

Job Description

Herzing University’s Online Division is currently looking for two or more new English instructors to teach in Fall 2017 (mid to late October). Terms are typically 8 weeks long, and all course are taught asynchronously.  You will be provided standard curriculum, but we encourage input and creativity into how that content is delivered to your students. Students will be assessed based on a variety of methods, depending on the class. These can include projects, exams, essays, case studies, discussion board activity, etc.   Who we are looking for! If you love teaching and want to make a difference by reaching our bright and engaged students through teaching, service, and scholarship, you may be a perfect addition to our growing team!  We are looking for someone who has the passion required to motivate students to obtain the knowledge and experience to help them excel academically, professionally, and personally. Basic Qualifications: To be qualified for this position you must have a Master's degree in English or Communication. While not required, experience teaching in the classroom or online is also preferred.  Summary of Primary Responsibilities A full job description will be provided during the interview process when you can discuss what this specific role will be, but a faculty member’s responsibilities fall into eight basic areas.
