Job Description

Herzing University is currently looking to fill the position of Registrar I. While this position will support the Online division of Herzing, it is physically located at the Menomonee Falls, WI site.  
This role is responsible for both the educational administrative functions related to keeping our students on track and ensures compliance of all student records according to regulatory, accreditation and institutional guidelines. This position will require you to pay strong attention to detail and process but still remain student service oriented.  

How you will impact student success: This position is responsible for proactively identifying student issues and generating actionable information for campus leadership. Because this role is so critical to our students' success, you will also have the opportunity to be a strategic partner with both campus leadership and the team responsible for helping students find the resources to be successful. Ultimately, you play an important student service oriented role in working with students to meet their educational goals.

WHO we are looking for... While a Bachelor's degree is required, and applicants with previous higher education experience would be great, we are really looking for the right fit for this role. If the following statements describe you, then this role may be ideal for you!

 Although a full job description will be provided to you later in the selection process, below are some of the primary duties:
  • Document and implement policies regarding scheduling, academic polices, transfer credits, program administration.
  • Work with Academic Dean to create overall schedule plan for in-coming students.
  • Accurately input individual schedules into the CampusVue and update any changes. 
  • Counsel students on curriculum and process schedule changes, e.g. adds/drops. 
  • Track and ensure student’s progress toward degree attainment.
  • Adhere to all FERPA, and other related rules and regulations.
  • Analyze outside transcripts for transfer credits then document credits accepted. 


Schedule... There may be some flexibility in your regular schedule, but you will be expected to work 40 hours a week when both the students and staff who you will be working with are on campus.  There is a possibility of working an evening or weekend hours.
