Herzing University has an immediate opening for a Student Accounts Specialist which will support both students and employees at all of our 10 campuses. This position is based at Herzing’s home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin (just outside of Milwaukee, WI).
This position provides an opportunity to use a variety of skills, ranging from customer service to Finance, as mentioned above. 

The Student Accounts team (Bursar Office, Business Office) is a critical piece of Herzing’s business, as well as helps shape the student experience. This position will be the primary interface between students and the rest of the Student Accounts team, who work behind the scenes with cash management, financial aid, compliance and reporting. 
Summary of Primary Responsibilities A full job description will be provided during the interview process when you can discuss what this specific role will look like, but a few of this position's responsibilities may include the following:
  • Return to Title IV Calculations
  • Posting aid, cash payments, scholarships, and refunds to individual accounts
  • Answering student questions via phone and email
  • Keeping in communication with students in regards to payments and documents

   Qualifications As it is explained above, this position will be the primary interface between the Student Accounts team and students, we are looking for the right person to fill this role. To be qualified for this position you must have a Bachelor’s Degree, and the following skills:
  • Excel in MS Excel  
  • A knack for turning numbers/data into usable information
  • The ability to effectively communicate to individuals over the phone or via email
  • The enthusiasm to provide students with excellent service and support to make their experience enjoyable and as easy as possible
