Electrical Instrumentation Technician
Kellogg's
Location: 2287 Ralph Ave. Louisville, KY 40216
Contract - 12 months, potential for direct hire for right candidate

Position Description:
Hourly pay rate: $30.00 Shift hours: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM 12 hour night shift. AWS 2-2-3 schedule. They would start on first shift for a few weeks to train before going to the alternative schedule.
o Assoc. Degree in Electronic/Electrical Technology, Technical/Trade School Degree with emphasis in Mfg. Technology and Process Automation, or comparable maintenance experience within a food manufacturing environment.
o Strong PLC Troubleshooting and Programming
o Allen Bradley PLC exp. highly desirable, (ie. RSLogix, Ladder Logic, RSLinx, and Panel Builder software. PLC5, SLC500, MicroLogix controllers, along with Allen Bradley Panel Views and VFDs.
o Read and comprehend ladder logic, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic prints, schematics, assembly drawings, maintenance manuals, along with technical installation, set up, and operational documents
o An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.
o Basic level servo drive troubleshooting exp. Required
o Use technical drawings, schematics and manuals to troubleshoot and repair complex process and equipment (e.g., blowers, packaging machines, scales, conveyors, ovens, compressors, etc.) to maintain equipment in 'Like New' condition.
o Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance procedures preferred Our EIT's must be quality-conscious, self-directed, motivated team players, eager to gain and share new knowledge, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

oUse technical drawings, schematics and manuals to troubleshoot and repair complex process and equipment (e.g., blowers, packaging machines, scales, conveyors, ovens, compressors, etc.) to maintain equipment in 'Like New' condition. Must have Allen Bradley PLC experience.
