Job Description:
HRU Technical Resources has partnered with an Indiana based supplier of components to the recreational vehicle and manufactured housing industries to place a Mobile Application Developer.  Please note, this position is NOT CORP2CORP eligible.

Essential Functions:
1. Contributes to the company's iOS and Android mobile app development
2. Write software for iOS / Android using the Xamarin platform
3. Improves code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews
4. Work with the digital innovation team to understand end-user requirements, opportunities, and use cases, then translate those into pragmatic and effective technical solutions and MVPs

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Experience:
1. Willingness and ability to learn and apply new technologies
2. Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field of comparable experience
3. Minimum 3 years' experience as a software developer
4. Solid OOP and software design knowledge
5. Evidence of being self-motivated and driven - you find satisfaction in a job well done and want to solve hard problems
6. Experience developing for iOS or Android 
7. Pro-actively consult industry best practices in mobile software design
8. Understanding of the iOS SDK development and iOS Human Interface Guidelines
9. Familiarity with SQL Lite, JSON, REST, Ajax or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Background developing with C# a huge plus
2. Experience with Xamarin tools
3. Experience with MVVM Cross or similar MVVM platforms
4. Experience with Git
5. Familiarity with agile development process

Workplace Environment:
-- This is a full-time 1st shift position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.  Weekend and overnight work may occasionally be necessary.
-- Limited local travel will be possible (this is not considered to be a travel intensive position)
-- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly talk and listen. This position is not very active when it comes to movement and requires a lot of typing and sitting in a chair.
