Job Description:
HRU Technical Resources has partnered with a major automotive company to place an Open Source Software Analyst / Project Manager. The Open Source Software Analyst supports execution of Open Source Software Licensing requirements and other elements across global programs and multiple model years. They will gather and assist in the collection and organization of business, legal, and technical documentation. They will also drive change, communicate requirements, and track critical dependencies for successful compliance of Open Source Software content.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
-- Track team projects according to individual schedules, and in line with program schedules
-- Maintain accurate documentation
-- Organize information from multiple sources and Identify missing elements
-- Communicate with all impacted stakeholders
-- Gather component plans and critical dependencies required for implementation
-- Ability to understand program and project management structures and timing
-- Collaborate with ECU Design Responsible Engineers (DREs), Tier-1 Suppliers, and Buyers for clarification, correction, and enforcement of the Open Source Software requirements
-- Manage multiple projects with broad scope, ambiguity, and high degree of complexity

Job Requirements


Minimum Required Qualifications / Experience:
-- Previous experience working in an office environment
-- Previous experience in managing projects
-- Previous experience organizing business, legal, or technical information
-- Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
-- Bachelor’s Degree in Business (or similar)
-- MUST have Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Preferred Qualifications / Experience:
-- Formal business/legal training
-- Previous experience in Project Management
-- Exposure to software development
-- Previous experience working in automotive industry (OEM/Supplier)
-- Document analysis experience
-- Knowledge of vehicle electronic modules and electrical architecture

Workplace Environment:
-- This is a 1st (day) shift position
-- Please note, this position is NOT corp2corp eligible
