Job Description:
HRU Technical Resources has partnered with a Michigan based automotive and engineering company to place a Quality Control Inspector. In this position you will be responsible for front-end line inspection, in-process inspections, calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments, providing feedback data, and supporting jobs in process in the assembly area.

-- High school diploma or equivalent.
-- Must have proven Mechanical aptitude, outside of the other requirements.
-- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector.
-- Prior experience in an automotive and/or manufacturing environment.
-- Ability to read blue prints and working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
-- Use of basic dimensional metrology tools.
-- Efficient with MS Office including: MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
-- Must be a self-starter, detailed oriented, and have the ability to work independently to meet tight deadlines.
-- Must be comfortable working in both an office and factory setting.
-- Able to interact with multiple departments.
-- Excellent attendance and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:
-- Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.

Job Requirements

-- 1st shift; 6am - 2:30pm; Monday - Friday
-- Must be available for weekends and OT as needed.
-- Ability to travel at minimum 10% regionally.
