HRU is seeking experienced Sanitation Supervisors for openings with a leading food manufacturer in their Cincinnati facility. Ideal candidates have previous sanitation experience in food manufacturing environments and be familiar with Sanitation requirements, regulations and procedures. Supervisory experience is highly preferred.

Candidates MUST be willing to work ANY shift & possible OT (possible weekends/holiday)

12 Month contract with direct hire possibilities for the right person!!

Responsibilities include:
Adhere strictly to sanitation (Good Manufacturing Practices) is required by federal regulations to assure food safety for all consumers.
Assure compliance to all federally mandated regulations by the production facility to assure food safety for consumers.
Monitor suppliers and their ingredients for compliance to these same federally mandated regulations.
Direct crew of up to 50 hourly employees daily
Maintains master cleaning schedule for plant meeting GMP and company guidelines
Communicates clean up results to operations group using digital pictures and scoring for each area
Assigns plant wide sanitation areas of responsibilities to all supervisors.
Monitors completion of these audits and follows up with required corrective actions the audits identify
Directs Pest Control Operators and Dust Control Operators to assure compliance to all regulations. (Pesticides, Clean Air Act-Title V, etc.)
Responsible for sanitation of plant, warehouse, and plant grounds. Ensure adherence to all standard work processes, including K-LEAN processes.

Candidate Required Experience:
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, communication skills
MS Office (word, power point, excel)
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment, understands and meets internal and external business needs with professionalism and a sense of urgency
Ability to plan, organize and effectively manage people
Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities
Strong problem solving and decision making skills


Education Preferred:
Bachelors degree in technical field preferred, Certification in pest control desirable
