Job Description


Support the Finance Department
in executing month-end procedures and process daily financial activities as
directed. Collaborate with both Finance & Operations teams to advise,
analyze and interpret financial data. The Cost Accountant will have the opportunity
to be exposed to many different areas of the company’s operations.

Essential Functions

Review and analyze Inventory
and Work Order transactions
Responsible for month-end close
activities including the preparation and review of journal entries in
accordance with US GAAP
Review and analyze the Revenue
and Cost of Goods Sold as part of the month-end close
Analyze actual vs. standard
cost variances for management reporting
Lead in the preparation and
development of Standard Costing
Prepare and review monthly
reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and ensure that general ledger
accounts are reconciled with resolution to reconciling items
Prepare and review
Sarbanes-Oxley testing documents
Assist in ad-hoc financial
planning, forecasting and other management reporting functions
Gather audit support for
external auditors at the direction of the Controller
Develop reporting tool and
Assist in the consolidations of
a multi-company environment
Assist in reconciling
intercompany accounts and post eliminating journal entries
Assist the CFO and Controller
with ad hoc reports and projects.

Qualification (s)

degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area.
years of experience in related activities

Analytical Skills - Ability to
use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
Organized and can manage time
Ability to handle multiple
Proficiency with Microsoft
Communication, Written -
Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
