Responsible for understanding both the business and
technical requirements for new products that will be engineered and implemented
for use by customers. Primarily responsible for the design, documentation and
implementation of the IT infrastructure. This includes the data center
environmental infrastructure, virtual environment, storage, networking, and
related applications. The Infrastructure Systems Architect works closely with
team members to ensure performance, availability, and security of implemented infrastructure
that is supportable as a service methodology.
Duties and Responsibilities

highly available data center trends and best practices as it relates to
cooling, electrical, UPS, and APC systems. Understanding the complexity,

report findings, make recommendations on changes that will improve

on IT industry developments as it pertains to the applications and systems they
closely with Application Support and Customer Service teams
Computer Skills: Expert knowledge of virtual hypervisors,
(VMware), storage/replication (IBM V7000 and DS3500, HP 3Par), SAN Technology (Brocade),
network design and administration (Cisco and IBM), as well as a firm
understanding of data protection strategies. Familiarity with Commvault and
BackupExec backup technologies a plus.
