                           Marketing Analyst


This role

requires a scientific approach to marketing with a high level of analytical

thinking. The


candidate will be familiar with the latest market research strategies,

marketing automation

implementation, email marketing tools, digital marketing fundamentals, and have advanced

proficiencies defining and implementing data sets through a CRM to achieve valuable

audience behavior insights.




• This role will help assess marketing effectiveness, ROI,

optimization strategies and channel


• Provide data-driven strategic direction to help achieve marketing

campaign and company goals

• Responsible for identifying and reporting key insights that

provide the strategic foundation

for reaching

and communicating to all levels of key audience segments — including

corporate enterprise clients, regional clients, and end-users, as well as




• Owner of marketing automation solutions and data integration through

a 3  party tool that is synced with Microsoft


• Support analytic requirements detailed in campaign briefs 

• Pre and post marketing campaign support — providing rich data and

insight before and after

campaign launches

• Develop reporting mechanisms for direct mail pieces, HTML email

campaigns, web traffic, videos,

social media advertising campaigns, etc., and dive deep into how each

touchpoint is collectively

delivering results

• Monitor marketing spend, revenue, and traffic with a vision to

long term growth

• Use data to determine best acquisition, penetration, and retention


• Responsible for establishing KPIs and finding automated ways to

measure against them

• Maintain regular reporting on the competitive landscape for as a

whole and within each

product set

• Maintain regular SWOT analyses for products

• Develop and maintain regular industry insights, state of the

economy reports, and audience insights

(including audience profiles) to share with internal stakeholders

• Partner with the Product Marketing Manager on product and pricing

analysis initiatives

• Conduct regularly scheduled surveys (qualitative and quantitative

that could include focus groups,

online surveys, and more) to inform campaign and product (print, digital,

platform) development


• Partner with Sr. Graphic Designer and Integrated Marketing Manager

to ensure email

marketing campaigns are designed and delivered to achieve maximum results  

• Liaise with the technology department to dive deep into proprietary

platform statistics to

help inform platform optimization decisions (including user behavior analysis)

• Responsible for developing regular maintenance procedures for

cleansing data 

• Develop dashboards that provide insights and visualization into

channel performance relative to

KPIs, projections, and historical performance

• Conduct research using internal and external data to inform

campaign planning

• Owner of monthly marketing report analytics

• Keep abreast of new ways to implement and measure campaign

performance, market research,

automation, and digital strategies 

• Help foster a data-driven company culture by presenting

data-driven solutions to internal

stakeholders on time and on budget 

• Develop and maintain compelling statistics to aid in the selling

process; support sales team

when needed on stats to support client presentations 

• Manages data/research related vendor resources, as necessary

• Other duties as assigned


Required Skills:


• Bachelor’s degree in research, marketing, business, statistics,

math, economics, or other related


• Minimum 1 -3-years’ experience in a related role

• Versatile skillset — able to easily navigate a multitude of data

inputs from a multitude of marketing


• Expert in data manipulation and can easily handle multi-variant

analysis with large datasets

• Exceptional

Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas, vlookups, etc.) 

• Running SQL queries is second nature 

• Advanced proficiency with managing digital tagging for emails and

other digital media 

• Experience obtaining performance insights from print


• Experience with statistical modeling

• Must have experience with A/B testing models

• Experience managing projects in a CRM (Microsoft Dynamics


• Advanced understanding of how data is mapped and leveraged through

a CRM is critical for

the success

of this role

• Know how to navigate Google analytics, Omniture, or a similar tool

• Proven experience developing persuasive campaigns through touting

compelling numbers

• Highly analytical and quick to problem-solve

• Strong writing/grammar skills

• Energetic, proactive, positive, flexible, and able to thrive in a

fast-paced environment

• Proven experience executing projects like a well-oiled machine

• Attention to detail, prioritization, and organization skills are


• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
