Description: Quality Test Technician

Responsible for inspecting various incoming materials and
components to ensure the products meet the company’s requirements and


Principle Accountabilities/Duties:

• Supports Quality engineering team 

• Electro-Mechanical background

•             Good
communication skills

•             Ability
to read schematics

•             Ability
to identify PCBA locations pointed to on layout diagrams

•             Knows
how to use a DMM/DVM

•             Knows
how to use an oscilloscope

•             Knows
how to use a DC Load.

•             Able to
use various power supplies

•             Soldering/Rework
skills (fine pitch parts)

•     Sets up lab
equipment, Compress Air set up, AC set up. Line Layout set up.

•     Sets up and
performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts or products

       to measure performance, life or material

•    Compares
hardware on assemblies/subassemblies and parts to parts list or drawing to

•     Rejects
faulty assembly, part or component and records type and quantity of defects.

•     Measures
parts to verify accuracy of dimensions.

•    Sorts
defective components and parts for salvage or scrap.

•    Develops and
maintains accurate process flow procedures and reporting mechanisms.

•    Ensures
accurate data collection, Reviews established procedures.
