The Vice President of Alliances will be highly motivated and self-directed with a strong background in architecting and building partner ecosystems involving recognizable System Integrators.

 

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on, sales-oriented VP of Alliances to develop and cultivate partner strategies while guiding a team of Alliance Directors.  The focus will be to work with the assigned SI’s to include the Industry Leaders, North America sales teams, and SAP and Testing Practices. 

 

This effort would also include coordination with the NA Direct Sales Teams to ensure all tactical opportunities are managed through the sales cycle in a timely manner.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

•         Demonstrate our Company’s value proposition to the partner’s Executive, Sales, and Technical teams to drive continued partner success.

 

•         Design and implement a strategic alliance approach and best practices to guide all strategic alliances to ensure exceptional partner experience, collaboration performance, organizational logistics and tracking.

 

•         Facilitate and manage sales enablement and training plans to ensure partners are equipped to position our Company’s solution and compete effectively to meet revenue objectives.

 

•         Lead point of contact to direct all operational aspects of the alliance, including joint governance, establishment and tracking of priorities and objectives, plan implementation and timelines, coordination of activities, communication and alignment, and issue resolution.

 

•         Critical focus on building trust and credibility and solution-orientation at individual, team and senior leadership levels to ensure exceptional partner experience and over-performance; proactively obtain collaborator feedback on the effectiveness of the collaboration.

 

•         Deeply understand all aspects of partner, collaboration and contracts, educate stakeholders on relevant matters and track performance and obligations.

 

•         Key knowledge owner for internal and external developments, trends and dynamics. Continually evaluate current and future opportunities within current alliances/collaborators. Recommend collaboration expansion opportunities as appropriate.

 

•         Work cohesively with our resources as needed, in both pre-sales and post-sales activities, to play key role in implementation plan for the initiation of collaborations.

 

Professional Qualifications

•         10+ years of extensive experience in strategic alliance management, business development and/or operational roles in an Enterprise Software organization.  Specific experience with Enterprise Applications are a plus.

 

•         Experience in building an efficient partner operations system with tracking, registrations, collaterals, etc…

 

•         Energetic, resourceful self-starter with high integrity, strong executive presence and the ability to effectively navigate dynamic, multi-faceted relationships.

 

•         Ability to cultivate relationships, embrace teamwork with exceptional communication and influence skills.

 

•         Outstanding business instincts and sound business judgment to reduce complex challenges into actionable, value-creating results and solutions.

 

•         Excellent analytical and organizational skills covering technical, financial, operational aspects of collaborations.

 

•         Experience with SalesForce.com

 

•         Ability and willingness to travel (up to 25%)

 

Education

Bachelor's degree in business or related field; advanced degree desirable.
