Job Description

McKinley is hiring a Corporate Administrative Assistant to join our Owned Residential team based in our corporate offices in Ann Arbor, MI. You will get a crash course in property management and live and breathe the excitement of working at one of the nation’s elite real estate management companies. It will be your responsibility to support our Executive Leadership as well as provide general office support. Qualified candidates will have strong administrative skills, an exceptional work ethic, and a true passion for customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing general office support for our Owned Residential team.
  • Welcoming guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
  • Supporting our executive leadership team with planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, and reconciling expense reports.
  • Coordinating and booking travel frequently for our Executive Leadership team.
  • Maintaining our office supplies including anticipating needed supplies, placing orders and verifying receipt.
  • Updating and maintaining a project tracker to log customer concerns.
  • Special projects for Senior Leadership as needed.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • We want you to have a background in administrative support. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook. Experience with Concur would be a plus!
  • You should be knowledgeable about making corporate travel arrangements.
  • You need to be fanatical about providing the best customer service. That’s the essence of our business!
  • You will need to be flexible. Sometimes priorities change quickly and you will be required to multitask.
  • You have to be comfortable with indirect supervision. You’ll work in our corporate office in downtown Ann Arbor, while your supervisor is out in the field. Expect constant communication via phone and email.
  • You should have strong organizational and planning skills. You should have superior attention to details and be able to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Soft skills! Don’t be robotic. You’ve got to be able to build rapport, inspire trust and confidence, and bring problems to resolutions in the interest of the business.
