Job Description


This position is responsible for installing and maintaining of all electrical equipment, components and systems in the Company’s facilities.  


  • Install and maintain electrical equipment to include, but limited to, motors, generators, air conditioning, alarm system, MCC and VFD unit, etc.
  • Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
  • Test circuit connections using proper electrical test equipment.
  • Build and install electrical distribution panes, alarm systems, etc.
  • Install, calibrates and maintains gas detection equipment.
  • Maintain records of all electrical inventories and place orders as needed within budgetary limits.
  • Coordinate with Rig Superintendents on the repair and refurbishment of equipment.
  • Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all electronic and electrical equipment.
  • Support the HSE objective of no injuries, accidents or harm to the environment as it relates to equipment.
  • Abide by Company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • A High School diploma is required.
  • Should have at least 3 years of work experience in maintaining electrical equipment.
  • Must possess and maintain all the current certifications and licenses necessary to safely perform the primary functions of the job as required by the appropriate regulatory authorities.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • VFD training certificate is preferred.
  • Must possess basic mathematical skills.
  • Must be a detail oriented, self-starter and able to work with little supervision while maintaining goals/tasks.
  • Must have good PC skills to include all MS Office products.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills and able to effectively communicate with staff,management, customers and vendors. Being multi-lingual is preferred.
  • Must be able/willing to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Must possess sound reasoning skills and have the ability to follow directions.
