Job Description


This position is responsible for providing comprehensive HR transactional support and coordination related to a wide variety of HR activities within Parker Drilling’s Global HR Shared Services team.  Primary areas of responsibility include data management of new hire onboarding, employee status changes, and employee termination activities.   This position works closely with HR and Payroll departments, employees and management. This position may at times also support special projects within the HR and HRSS organizations


  • Review and accurately enter employee data changes in the case management system (My HR   Tools)
  • Contribute to the integrity of employee data by performing periodic reviews and updates if necessary
  • Quickly and accurately resolve cases in a professional, sensitive, customer-focused manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain positive relationships with HR professionals, employees, and managers to support company-wide HR initiatives.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred
  • 1 year experience in an administrative or professional position preferred
  • Must be proficient in MS office products to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with staff, management, customers and vendors.
  • Must possess sound reasoning skills and have the ability to follow directions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintain confidential data
  • Ability to analyze situations and interpret facts to make decisions and resolve problems
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team
  • Support HRSS Leads and HRSS Global Director in additional activities specific to HR Shared Services
  • Experience in HR case management systems highly preferred
  • Experience with various Content Management tools (i.e., SharePoint) preferred
  • Experience with Oracle HCM preferred
  • Oil & Gas industry experience preferred
