The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall clinical operation of the home care agency. The key responsibilities involve budgetary management, leading the activities of the nursing team, providing clinical direction, and ensuring growth and profitability of the agency.
Minimum of one year experience in home health care. (This may be higher by state specific regulation.) Previous management or supervisory experience required. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the State Board in which he/she practices. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
