Job Description

Substance Abuse Specialist assists persons served by providing services and supports necessary to assist the recipient in achieving and maintaining rehabilitative, sobriety, and recovery goals. This is intended to meet the mental health or substance abuse needs of adults who have significant functional impairments that seriously interfere with or impede their roles or functioning in family, school, or community.

Tasks include:

*Assessments, planning, linkage, direct treatment and rehabilitative services, advocacy, and monitoring.

*Works with the person to obtain entitlements, resources, housing, educational opportunities, employment, etc. to enable the person to become independent and functional.

CSAC, LCAS or LCAS-A plus experience.  FT position for ACTT program in Greensboro, NC
