This Commercial Finance Analyst role will allow the successful candidate to work closely with Operational Management and Senior Finance Team and have a direct impact on the bottom line profitability of the organisation in 2016/17.
Reporting into the Finance Director (and with daily exposure to the CEO), as the Commercial Finance Analyst your role would be to analyse and report on the companies costings and margins in order to best reflect the real value to the business.
By analysing market pricing, profit margins, cost profiling, analysis of performance of different branches etc your role would be to provide the business with data and analysis to enable the Senior Management team to make strategic business decisions based on business performance. Therefore the role offers great commercial/business partnering exposure and is heavily weighted towards liaising with Project Managers, Purchasing, Engineers, Sales Representatives etc in order to retrieve the information you need.

The ideal candidate for this role would be:
- Part CIMA qualified or qualified by experience
- From a strong analytical background
- Strong on Excel to an intermediate/advanced level
- Have experience of an ERP system
- Be organised with a key attention to detail
- Have the initiative and confidence to liaise across departments
As this role will be very visible within the business, it is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you may well present data and recommendations to the senior team.
