This organisation is a major FTSE 100 business and is offering a role within the Group Reporting Function that is critical to the Group as a whole.The group reporting function acts as a centre of excellence for technical accounting issues providing advice to the wider group on ad hoc queries and is continually looking to improve finance processes including those in Group Finance.
This is a high profile role that will suit a technically minded qualified accountant and has significant interaction with the Head of Group Reporting.
As the Interim Group Reporting Analyst you will be required to join the existing finance team to take part in the change programme surrounding a new group consolidation system. You will join the team to assist with background data manipulation and analysis of consolidations and intercompany to prepare for the transition to the new system.
You will also assist in the scoping of the to be situation and be involved in workflow development and project testing during the development and go live phases.
This role will involve reporting directly into the Head of Finance Integration Projects while also supporting the Group Financial Reporting Manager, skill set wise this role will require an in depth technical understanding of Group reporting and statutory accounting as well as the ability to analyse and draw conclusions form prior year results.

The successful Interim Group Reporting Analyst is likely to be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with experience of group financial reporting of a large listed business, either from industry or from practice.
They will be intellectually inquisitive and technically strong, with good analytical skills and will have proactive problem solving capabilities. The candidate will be required to remain technically up to date in all areas of financial reporting.

Salary & Benefits
£350-400 per day. Parking is available free of charge, alternatively the office is close to the train station and served by bus routes as well.
