Job Description

Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have responsibility for a project and project budget. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants. Typically requires 7+ years of experience. 

Required Skills 
- 7+ years working experience in Application SDLC 
- Excellent Written and Communication skills 
- Excellent conflict resolution skills 
- Working knowledge of multiple technologies including Oracle and Unix 
- Strong knowledge (5+years) of Agile, or Lean Agile 
- Ability to work with people of all levels to drive business process change using technology solutions. 
- Ability to build and leverage a broad network and relationships to negotiate priorities and achieve business results 

Desired Skills 
- IBM InfoSphere DataStage (iShare) 
- Oracle Exadata 
- An understanding of the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) law and how it affects financial instuitutions or Bank of America specifically. 
- Strong working knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, Agile principles, and Rally tool usage. 
- Ability to think critically and creatively 
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills. 
- Active listener. 
- Ability to voice opinions appropriately while being open to feedback.
