Job Description

SkillStorm rapidly builds and deploys IT project teams with critical skills in client facilities or at our US based delivery centers.   We are actively seeking a Sr. Account Executive to join our growing Strategic National Accounts team.  This position will support New York or Jacksonville, FL.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will utilize your proven sales experience to help SkillStorm drive a true partnership with our existing high-profile client in the New York or Jacksonville, FL market. This role will be tasked with “land and expand' responsibilities by accelerating the growth and market share we have established within the region.  Align yourself with clients who will partner with you to anticipate talent acquisition challenges and work with them to respond quickly and efficiently while delivering results. 


Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

  •        Research and qualify key decision makers within the account
  •        Cold-call, schedule meetings onsite or virtually with C-Suite, Sr. Directors, SVPs, VPs
  •        Define requirements with each decision maker while offering relatable SkillStorm solutions that will meet the qualifications of their existing IT Project needs
  •        Educate client and users on SkillStorm capabilities; establish relationships with senior level client decision makers to create advocates for our brand
  •        Quantify project needs, including required technologies, ideal headcount/reporting structures and delivery/milestone dates related to new initiatives
  •        Facilitate the interactions of SkillStorm delivery teams and clients regarding ongoing recruiting/sourcing efforts related to projects awarded and ensure deliverable are met

 

What we look for:

  •        Demonstrated closing ability, strong communication skills, both written and oral; ability to deliver high level presentations, negotiate and close business at all level of management
  •        An advanced understanding of the IT & Operations landscape, including relevant skill- sets and functions performed by consultants, how they relate to the various projects they support, technology terms and applications, typical reporting structures, etc.
  •        Ability to increase market share by proactively pursuing and closing new relationships within existing clientele by managing multiple client relationships across varying lines of business, technology and operations teams
  •        Aptitude to understand our clients’ unique business challenges and drivers by becoming a subject matter expert in their overall resource strategy and workforce planning objectives
  •        Strong understanding of consulting industry and life cycle, best practices and success drivers for industry and environment
  •        Documented high performer in prior roles with similar responsibility

 


 

Qualifications:

  •        At least five (5) years’ experience selling IT consulting or staffing services
  •        Executive presence, experienced in partnering with SVP level and “C-Suite' clients
  •        Team player with a strong track record of consistent over-achievement
  •        Must have a “Hunter' approach to business development within untapped areas of existing client accounts
  •        Ability to infuse a strong “Farmer' mindset within existing manger/executive relationships to drive repeat business
  •        Proven background in selling IT contract professional services (staffing, solutions, managed services)
  •        Experience partnering with a recruiting/delivery team for mutual success
  •        Established reputation in the NY/FL market
