Job Description

The Clinical Liaison is responsible for marketing, referral development, hospital census and CMS13 compliance.  This position assists with the design and implantation of referral development strategies with an emphasis on face-to-face marketing.  This position completes pre-admission assessments and facilitates the referral to admission process in a timely manner.  They are responsible for coordination of marketing events/in-services in assigned territory.  The Clinical Liaison also represents the facility in Hospital-related activities, health fairs, and educational opportunities, as well as reports marketing efforts and tracks goals.

Job Requirements

  • Licensed or Certified Clinician
  • Clinical degree in healthcare related field whose scope of practice/education leads to competent assessments of medical conditions, functional status & risk for medical/ functional complications
  • Minimum of (1) year of experience with discharge planning or admissions in the health care industry; Minimum of two (2) years experience as a marketing representative or clinical liaison preferred
  • Knowledge of local medical Hospital preferred
  • The ability to multi-task and identify/interact with various referral sources
  • The ability to communicate in English via phone, in writing and verbally in conversation with different levels of staff, patients, families and other external contacts
