KING 5 is looking for a self-motivated Facilities Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the broadcast facility. A successful candidate will be able to think on their feet, work well with others, and is focused on quality customer service for internal customers.


  • Provide maintenance and repair for KING-managed building systems including HVAC, lighting, electrical and plumbing for both studio and transmitter facilities.
  • Coordinate with contractors for maintenance of systems that are provided under various service agreements.
  • Manage daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance records for all systems.
  • Provide maintenance, repair and re-configuration as needed for office furniture systems.
  • Provide support for various departments to accommodate set-ups for special events.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements


  • Minimum 2 years of facilities maintenance experience required.
  • Must be detail oriented, able to quickly adapt to change and be responsive to problems as they might arise.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and similar computer applications.
  • Read technical drawings / documentation.
  • Handle and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Lift up to 70 lbs, climb ladders and work on elevated surfaces.
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently as part of a team.
  • Effectively communicate directly with internal customers.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
