Here at theVillage we work together with children, families, and communities impacted by trauma to support healing and resilience, to encourage hope, and to empower them to realize their greatest potential. It is because of caring and dedicated staff that we have been making a difference in the lives of children and families for nearly 140 years. Our work helps kids and families who have experienced significant trauma and challenges to not only survive but to thrive.
Serving approximately 2,500 individuals annually, theVillage provides a comprehensive range of prevention, child welfare, therapeutic programs, as well as educational services that help heal the spirits of children, families, and communities in crisis. The Village provides services at two facilities. The Rosemont campus houses our administrative offices, our residential treatment programs for adolescent girls, and outpatient mental health services. The Preheim Center, located in Southwest Philadelphia, serves as the location and hub for our outpatient mental health services, foster care and adoption services and many other community-based programs and services.
