Job Description

The Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative functions at the mine site. Providing support to safety department personnel, duties may include; preparing reports while monitoring and handling multiple projects. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Compiling and developing reports for the Safety department or specific specialty area. 
  • Printing, copying and filing. 
  • Opening and distributing incoming and outgoing mail, including preparing special company documents or packages.
  • Ordering supplies and keeping inventory. 
  • Answering and routing telephone calls 
  • Provides support to other administrative professionals within the office.

Job Requirements

  • Intermediate level proficiency at MS Office Suite.
  • Three to five years' successful experience in office/mining environment.
  • Degree of creativity and latitude.
  • Organized, friendly, patient, and well spoken.
  • Good grammar and spelling abilities.
  • Solid familiarity with Medgate.
  • Professional appearance.
