Summary Description: 

Westmoreland Coal is looking for a Support Analyst that will be responsible for the day to day troubleshooting and support for JD Edwards (JDE) throughout the company. This position requires technical and functional skills along with the ability to build strong relationships that will help deliver value for the organization. The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual that has the technical proficiency to solve client issues across multiple modules in JDE (GL, FA, AP/AR, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Maintenance, Operations). They will also require strong written and verbal communication skills and a positive, service oriented attitude. This job will require experience in working

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:             

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to support the day to day activities supporting JD Edwards
  • Troubleshoot client issues across multiple modules in JD Edwards and from multiple sites
  • Troubleshoot client issues in Reporting Tools tied to JDE (DAS, Business Objects, Excel)
  • Troubleshoot integration issues tied to JDE (FTP, BIP and Web Services)
  • Track work activities and document solutions in our Global Ticketing System (iSupport)
  • Update and maintain Help Documentation for JDE in Oracle UPK

Job Requirements

Competencies:

Demonstrates Technical proficiency in the following areas:

  • JD Edwards 9.2 (Experience with multiple modules would be an asset)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Data Access Studio (DAS/Reports Now)

Demonstrates experience and proficiency in the following soft skills:

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

  • 1-5 years of experience supporting JD Edwards
  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education/experience) in computer information systems, computer science or a related discipline
