Job Description

Custom Personnel is hiring a CPA/Senior Accountant

Public accounting, reconciling bank statements, prepare financial statements, quarterly and annual payroll reports, sales tax reports, business property statements, loan amortization statements, etc. Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.

Requirements for CPA

California CPA or EA license

3+ Years of tax return (prep) experience

Bachelor's Degree

4 or more years of public accounting experience

Compensation + Benefits

$60,000 - $90,000K Per Year

Possibility for future partnership

Pension Plan Participation

Company Will Consider Relocation Reimbursement

Responsibilities for CPA

Meet with clients, build and maintain client relationships

Prepare all types of financial statements

Prepare personal and business income tax returns

Tax planning, projections and research of tax related issues

Represent clients before tax authorities

Perform special accounting projects such as trusts, estates, conservatorships and guardianships

Participate in client strategic-planning meetings and provide succession planning guidance

Report financial information to management and advise them on tax consequences of business decisions

Other duties as assigned

Mon - Fri, Full Time, Daytime, Overtime Occasionally

Requirements for Senior Accountant:

Bachelors Degree Required

7 or more years of public accounting experience

$60-$75,000k

Same hours and responsibilities as CPA above
