Overview

We are seeking a Full Time Male Live-In House Manager to join our TEAM!

Advanced Recovery Systems is an integrated behavioral healthcare management company dedicated to the treatment of addiction, substance abuse, eating disorders and mental health issues.  We put behavioral health front and center, providing assistance to people with substance abuse issues, addictions and mental health concerns.

Next Step Village is a community of three residences. Two are located in Eustis, Florida, an hour north of Orlando, and one is in Maitland, Florida, just a few minutes outside the metro Orlando area. Our main priority is your success in recovery, and we continue to improve our programming at Next Step Village to help our residents achieve that success. This is a live-in position. 


Responsibilities

The House Manager is responsible for the observation and monitoring of residents of the sober living community.  This role will be managing a Male-only house. 

 

Core Job Duties:

  • Communicate and enforce facility program rules in a firm, but fair, and professional manner
  • Communicate resident behavior with immediate supervisor as appropriate.
  • Address problem behaviors as needed through verbal de-escalation techniques.
  • Ability to work with diverse personalities.
  • Adhere to time schedules
  • Maintain healthy and professional boundaries with patients and staff
  • Understand and apply the program’s clinical philosophy
  • Demonstrate good strategic and problem-solving skills
  • Ensure that documentation is timely, consistent, clear, accurate and legible.
  • Conduct House Meetings and Group Activities.
  • Encourage patient to maintain Recovery post-discharge
  • Accept constructive criticism and utilize supervision and feedback for professional growth.
  • Address problems noted by supervisor
  • Communicate all urgent matters with your immediate supervisor.
  • Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility
  • Pursue professional development through participation in education and training programs
  • Function well as a team member and contribute positively to the team and organization.
  • Maintain good communication, both written and verbal.
  • Assist in Admissions of new residents
  • May be required to provide for transportation of patients.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, higher education preferred
  • Current/Active Florida Driver's License with safe driving history
  • Familiarity with the recovery process and meetings/activities associated with recovery
  • CPR Certification
  • Standard First Aid Certification
