Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for maintaining the security of the company's computer system, and designing security systems that protect from outside attacks.

KEY RESULTS AREAS (RESPONSIBILITIES):

    • Conduct vulnerability assessment and penetration testing for network, web applications, mobile applications, and/or thick-client application
    • Conduct configuration reviews for OS, DB, Firewall, Routers, Switches and other infrastructure components
    • Conduct source-code review using automated and manual approaches
    • Keep abreast on the latest IT Security news and exploits; develop scripts for test and evaluation of mitigation controls
    • Work independently and also collaborate closely with incident responders, SOC analysts, L2 Support and others

 

Job Requirements

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT
  • Required certifications - GPEN or OSCP

 WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience

 SPECIFIC SKILLS

  • Manual and automated security testing of applications
  • Familiarity with offensive toolkits used for network and application penetration testing
  • Strong familiarity with multiple operating systems, databases, applications, scripting language and platforms
  • Proficiency in frameworks such as  Metasploit PowerSploit etc
  • Knowledge of application design, development and testing techniques, security code reviews
  • Skills to investigate intrusions, identify malicious activity and potential insider threats
  • Well-versed with internal privilege escalation techniques
  • Working knowledge of security architectures
  • Experience with Netflow or PCAP analysis
