We are currently looking for a new member to our Global Finance team based in Baar, Switzerland:

 

Director, Program Management Office

 

The organization is currently implementing a significant change program across its financial global services, in country and within its internal shared service centers across all regions. We are looking for the best talent to head up our Project Management Office, as the Program Management Director this role is a pivotal to the leadership and successful delivery of existing and future Agility projects.

You will have the opportunity to work for a dynamic and growing company with a strong empowerment culture within a multicultural environment. As the Director, PMO, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team reporting directly to the SVP of Financial Operations.

 

Your responsibilities 

  • You will develop and implement best practices to enable successful delivery of a broad range of Finance change projects across the business
  • You will oversee the portfolio of organizational projects, providing expert knowledge and practices, supporting and monitoring progress and reporting on portfolio status.
  • You will manage projects & programs directly, including the ongoing Oracle implementation project as well as the Finance Transformation Project
  • You will be responsible for the development, introduction and on-going iteration of the finance organizations project delivery approach
  • You will provide strong leadership in a matrix environment to promote best practices in managing interrelated projects and programs to ensure successful delivery & adoption.
  • You will work with operational and project teams to manage change and introduce best practice process & procedures including status updates, risk & issue management within the business.

Job Requirements

Your qualification 

  • Preferred Bachelor degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics, MBA or relevant advanced degree is beneficial
  • Experience delivering large scale ORACLE ERP implementation projects would be required
  • At least 5 years of relevant project management or PMO management experience, within a company or with a consulting organization
  • Six Sigma and Lean Certification beneficial
  • Experience implementing, managing transitions and working with shared services required
  • Experience working on Financial Transformation Projects required
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, Microsoft Project skills are a must
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams, easily gains trust and confidence of multiple stakeholders
  • Ideally a good understanding of the freight forwarding business model, including an interest in global business trends, their implications to the freight forwarding business model and impact on working capital and cash position of the logistics industry sector
  • Proven experience leading & developing successful teams
  • Excellent written & spoken English is essentialInterested?
