Position Summary

Agility DGS Americas, located at 5270 Shawnee RD, Alexandria, VA seeks a motivated individual for Business Development that will provide a wide range of support across the global Business Development and Capture Management teams. The ideal candidate will possess ability to recognize and interpret trends in data, analyzes the essential details, and translate into tangible solutions. We are looking for a candidate that clearly understands the business development process as it relates to government contracting that can read, write and interpret complex proposals and amendments. This position will maintain a high level of personal ownership, initiative and drives performance, excellence and execution.

Travel up to 20%

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: provide technical support, research, business intelligence and concept solutions through daily/weekly queries to help identify new or expanding business opportunities
  • Project management: assist in coordinating the capture and proposal development process. Manage timelines, deadlines and key tasks and schedules. Synchronize proposal efforts across multiple bids.
  • Process Management: identify and trouble shoot gaps in processes and procedure, develop systems and protocols to address weaknesses, and implement, monitor, and maintain those systems
  • Data Analytics: researches, prepares, tracks, audits and maintains market analysis and statistics for intelligent analytics dashboards and report updates, charts, data submissions for facilitation of decision making, and any additional ad hoc reporting as needed
  • Marketing: the ability to leverage multiple marketing disciplines and integrate into the business development process. Develops a marketing strategy that improves positioning and competitive advantage. Capable of networking and coordinating with key partners in facilitating team creation and synching resources in the preparation of business opportunities
  • Communication: plan, draft and dissemination of new team member training and team building techniques; drafts team communications and provide support to corporate communications and marketing collateral;

Communication and Working Relationships

Possesses strong and effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear direction when troubleshooting issues and providing solution based response to questions. Position requires experience and/or comfort when verbally communicating with and presenting to varying levels of staff, management, officials and executives.

Candidate will be required to manage partnerships with creative and technical support teams, and prioritize, execute and ensure organizational adherence to systems and procedures are maintained as is related to the Agility DGS LLC business group’s processes.

None supervisory role and is supervised by the VP of Operations.

This position will work in a team environment, and often very closely with other functional departments.
