Position:  Enhanced Service Assistant

Shift: 7a-12p

Weekly hours: 20

 

Normandie Ridge, a continuing care retirement community in York, PA, offers a full range of living options including independent living in our cottages and apartments, personal care, skilled nursing care, dedicated memory care and short-term rehabilitation.  It is part of Albright Care Services, a not-for profit organization that has been caring for seniors in Central Pennsylvania for over 100 years.

At Normandie Ridge, we are looking for an enhanced service assistant to help our Independent Living residents maintain their independence.  Our enhanced service assistants:

  • As needed, assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, shaving, grooming, dressing, toileting, ambulation and hair, skin and mouth care;
  • As needed, assist residents with meal preparation, transportation, light housekeeping and companionship;
  • Accurately document all care provided.

The starting hourly rate for this position depends on experience but typically ranges from $9.25 to $11.34.

Job Requirements

  • At least  ten grades of formal schooling.
  • A valid PA driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Experience in a related position is preferred.
