Position:  Personal Care Assistant

Normandie Ridge, a continuing care retirement community in York, PA, offers a full range of living options including independent living in our cottages and apartments, personal care, skilled nursing care, dedicated memory care and short-term rehabilitation.  It is part of Albright Care Services, a not-for profit organization that has been caring for seniors in Central Pennsylvania for over 100 years.

At Normandie Ridge, we are looking for a personal care assistant to care for the personal, physical and emotional needs of our Personal Care residents.  Our personal care assistants:

  • Assist our residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation and exercise as needed;
  • Transport our residents to medical appointments and activities;
  • Assist our residents with the self-administration of medications;
  • Maintain a clean and neat environment in Personal Care.

The starting hourly rate for this position depends on experience but typically ranges from $9.25 to $12.69.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent OR current CNA certification.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must possess genuine concern for the needs of older adults.
  • Relevant experience is preferred.
