Job Description

We’re hiring an intern to the join Adjuvant.Health’s Business Development team. Adjuvant.Health, one of the largest private medical partnerships in New York, offers a wide range of medical solutions and medical administrative services that allows a medical practice more time to focus on patients. As a Business Development Intern, you will learn the ins and outs of our operations by standing at the forefront of our business development process. You will identify new prospects in our market and work closely with our AVP to develop a pipeline of solid leads.

This Internship is perfect for someone who wants to jumpstart their business development career and learn how to be successful within a rapidly growing company. You will be responsible for identifying potential prospects, performing outreach to secure meetings, successfully scheduling meetings, and making warm introductions for the VP to close business.

You will…

  • Create new prospecting lists by identifying target accounts and specific executives/providers
  • Schedule phone or in-person meetings through warm and cold email outreach using a consultative approach that supports their strategic and tactical needs
  • Qualify, follow up, educate, and execute a substantial volume of cold leads to progress prospects further into the sales process
  • Generate new business opportunities from a targeted list of potential partners
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to drive opportunity
  • Work closely with the marketing team to drive continuous improvement in lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline generation

What We're Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in an undergrad or graduate program
  • Strong presentation skills and comfortable with public speaking
  • Serious attention to detail and highly organized juggling multiple projects
  • Interested in a career with in business development field
