Our Expanding Multi-Practice Medical Group is seeking candidates for a Practice Manager to oversee the business operations of a brand-new Pediatric medical practice.

This is an opportunity to help build a new practice from the ground up!  The Practice Manager will play an integral part in the success of establishing our newest location in Rocky Point, NY.

Position Responsibilities:

  •           Oversee the daily operations of the Medical Practice and supports the company’s mission.
  • Promote the company’s core values to ensure both patient and staff satisfaction.
  • Act as Liaison between Providers and Home Office Team.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and appropriate work schedules with oversight of recruitment, training, coaching and counseling of staff.
  • Manage the patient registration and scheduling process to maximize optimization of providers schedule.
  • Responsible for payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and banking.
  • Manage vendor relationships and inventory control of supplies, equipment and devices.
  • Establish and maintains all office policies and procedures and ensures compliance with current organizational and governmental regulations, medical laws, and ethics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus with a minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Prior management experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet service expectations.
  • Knowledge of accounting, data, administrative processes, and principles.
  • Familiar with human resource management principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and coding.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and state and federal laws.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Clinical Information Systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • Sitting in front of a computer for long periods of time.
  • Frequent telephone use.
  • Exposure to blood, chemicals, and other bodily fluids.
  • Travel to company sites as needed.
