Job Title: Medical Receptionist - Part Time - Plainview, NW
Our Expanding Multi-Practice Medical Group is seeking candidates for a Medical Receptionist. The Medical Receptionist role is everyone’s first point of contact for the office. Flexibility, professional appearance, good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are crucial for this role. The office is fast-paced and requires attention to details while maintaining a welcoming presence for both patients, their parents, and visitors. Proposed schedule for 24 hours per week:
Monday: 7:30 pm - 1:00 pm
Friday: 8:30 am - 7:00 pm
Saturday: 7:30 am - 1:00 pm

Position Responsibilities:
• Greeting patients and visitors
• Answering telephones in a courteous and professional manner.
• Scheduling appointments for patients
• Collecting copays or balance due
• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, computer knowledge
• Must be personable, organized and reliable
• Must like children and have a pleasant demeanor with children
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum one year in a medical office, pediatric experience a PLUS
- Prior experience and/or knowledge of EMR is required. Experience with GE Centricity preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Medical office that is both physically and emotionally demanding
- Standing or stooping for long periods of time.
- Mild physical labor to complete the tasks at hand.
- Exposure to blood, chemicals, and other bodily fluids.
- Possible heavy lifting (infants, toddlers, children)
- Other physical demands that coincide with the duties of a laboratory professional.
