We are seeking a Full-Time Medical Receptionist

This position would be best suited for an outgoing, positive energy person who appreciates cordial, professional employee relationships and close continuity of care with our families and children. 

The Medical Receptionist will work approximately thirty to forty (30-40) hours per week with the below projected schedule:


Monday – 2:00pm – 8:00pm

Tuesday – 2:00pm – 8:00pm

Wednesday – 2:00pm – 8:00pm

Thursday – Off

Friday – 10:00am – 6:00pm

Saturday – 8:00am – 1:00pm (as needed)

Preferred Qualifications for Ideal Candidates:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year in a medical office, pediatric experience a PLUS
  • Prior experience and/or knowledge of EMR is required. Experience with GE Centricity preferred.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Greeting patients and visitors
  • Answering telephones in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Scheduling appointments for patients
  • Collecting copays or balance due
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, computer knowledge
  • Must be personable, organized and reliable
  • Must like children and have a pleasant demeanor with children

The Location: The Medical Assistant will work at our MDs4Kids division in Great Neck, NY. Great Neck is a village in Nassau County on the North Shore of Long Island.
