Position Overview:

We are seeking a Full Time Payroll Specialist to support our HR Shared Service Center. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring payroll completion for employee workforce in an accurate and timely manner. Collaborates with Human Resources, Finance and Payroll Vendor to ensure organizational goals related to payroll and HRIS system are met.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs all activities necessary to process 1 or more payrolls.
  • Accurate and timely input, review, and submission of payroll data.
  • Enter all manual edits requested by managers.
  • Ensure time card exceptions are cleared prior to locking the time cycle.
  • Maintains employee time off balances.
  • Answer staff questions regarding the policy and administration.
  • Audit accruals to ensure accuracy; Process PTO adjustments when necessary.

Position Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience required; CPP Preferred.
  • 3-5 Years Payroll Experience required, including working knowledge of payroll and tax regulations.
  • Proficient in ADP Workforce Now with strong report writing and data reconciliation capabilities.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and think critically.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, and working knowledge of informational databases.
