Adjuvant.Health is headquartered in Melville, NY supporting the largest independent pediatric medical supergroup in the country, Allied Physicians Group, PLLC. 

We are currently expanding our recruitment initiatives and are seeking and experienced Physician Recruiter to join our Human Resources Department. The Physician Recruiter is responsible for all aspects of Physician and Advanced Practitioner (Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner) recruitment, including sourcing, screening, coordinating & conducting behavioral interviews, as well as facilitating the onboarding process.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a relationship manager and works closely with Physician Partners and Office Managers to develop successful recruitment and retention strategies to attract quality candidates with an interest in Pediatrics, while meeting the needs of the individual physician practice.
  • Develops and places Job Postings and Recruitment advertisements on various platforms (e.g., social media, professional journals and web-sites while being cognizant of marketing budget.
  • Utilizes Applicant Tracking System (JobVite) to facilitate recruitment process and produce weekly candidate and job progress reports.
  • Develops positive relationships with potential candidates and maintains communication regarding candidate status progression; demonstrated follow through.
  • Conducts behavioral based interviews with candidates and assists Physician Partners and Office Managers in facilitating interviews within best-practice guidelines.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with educational institutions and residency programs to develop clinical rotation opportunities and build candidate volume to meet current and future organizational needs.
  • Participate in regional, state, or multi-state recruitment or career/conference events to represent Allied Physician Group.
  • Responsible for working with Physician Partners and Management in negotiating and preparing offers of employment including salary proposals, benefits, and all aspects of contract revisions and final execution.
  • Ensures all reference/background checks, on-boarding and credentialing processes are completed efficiently and in a timely manner. Works closely with HR and credentialing staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4 Years Healthcare Recruitment experience, with at least 2 years direct Physician Recruitment experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience developing strong relationships with internal and external clients in a customer-service focused manner.
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing social media recruitment and professional network development.
  • Ability to problem-solve and develop effective solutions to recruitment challenges.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) for recruitment and productivity reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects independently while also working effectively on a team.
  • Ability to travel to Allied Practice Sites, career events, and educational institutions.
  • Association of Staff Physician Recruiters Certification preferred (AASPR, DASPR or FASPR).
