Job Description

Allied Resources is looking for a Wind Commissioning Manager who will be overseeing commissioning for Utility scale wind construction projects. The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for the oversight and management of the start-up, and commissioning of utility scale wind projects. Providing oversight of the various contractors and suppliers involved in commissioning of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the pre-commissioning, commissioning, equipment, system testing and energization activities.
  • Ensure Contractor is meeting its obligations in regard to schedules, cost tracking, document control, project reporting, quality control, change order tracking, resource assignments and safety plans.
  • Work with Contractor, Owner, Engineers and others as required in the planning and executing of the work procedures, interpreting specifications and coordinating various phases of commissioning to prevent delays.
  • Provide field reports that convey progress of work, labor report, activities completed, and daily plans.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with start-up and commissioning, construction, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Proven supervisory skills based on past work history.
  • Strong Computer and Interpersonal skills.
