Job Description

Allied Resources is currently seeking a Engineering Supervisor for their top client in the Central New Hampshire area. This position is a Direct Hire/Permanent opportunity with a highly respectable Electric Utility provider, offering a very compet itive starting salary, flexible schedule, low cost Medical/Health benefits, 401(k), Pension Plan, and the option to work 100% remotely currently.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience within the Electrical Utility industry (Transmission & Distribution/Substation/P&C); with the proven ability to direct technical Engineering/Design scopes for major distribution automation upgrade projects, and lead the development/integration of new P&C/Relay systems, Substations, automation controls, SCADA networks, and Distributed Energy Resources (DER).

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Position Overview

  • Responsible for serving as the Engineering Supervisor for key CapEx projects with a focus on executing the Engineering/Design and development of major Distribution automation technology upgrades and Substation rebuilds
  • 5+ years of engineering/design of low/high-voltage T&D Lines, Underground/Overhead facilities, P&C/Protective Relays, GIS/AIS Substations, and/or SCADA networks.
  • Experience developing and managing project schedules, technical work groups, project requirements, material specifications, and budgets
  • Leads engineering/design review meetings, ensures the completion of conceptual and detail designs packages on time and in spec
  • Background assisting with the permitting, interconnection services, design criteria requirements, technical specifications, standards development, etc.
  • Solid background in creating and reviewing One/Three-line diagrams, distribution relaying and protection schematics, drawings, logic diagrams, equipment layouts, etc.
  • Experience following and understanding the latest trends in distribution automation technology, smart-grid devices and equipment, SCADA systems, etc.
  • B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, and/or another Engineering discipline
  • P.E. or PMP License is preferred
