Job Description



  • Receive and respond positively to customer concern
  • Assign customer concern to concerned department
  • Prepare offer for service
  • Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of material
  • ISO documentation to be maintained.
  • C form to be collected on yearly basis ( Sending mails to the customer and follow up with them for the same

Customer related activities:

  • Checking and replying to all the e-mails received on day to day basis.
  • Preparation of quotations for all enquires received.
  • Checklist to be prepared after receipt of Purchase order from customer as per the format to check the offered terms & conditions with that of ordered terms.
  • Preparation of Order Acceptance and Performa Invoice as per the terms & condition of order.
  • Follow up with the customer for order and also with the prospective customers who had conducted business in past.
  • To maintain account receivables and follow up with the customer for timely receipt of payments as per the agreed terms with customers and close the order.
  • Updating of enquiry tracker on regular basis
  • Attend all telephonic calls in sales department and reply suitably
  • Maintenance & Filing of all documents related to sales.
  • Vendor registration to be done for new customer’s as and when required.  Vendor creation form to be filled up and sent with sign of concerned sales person and sales head to finance. ( this is in case of new customer)
  • Sales statistic to be filled up as and when required by accounts department and send to finance for reporting
  • Presentation to be made for weekly reporting of sales and Order booking.
  • High seas sales documents to be prepared as per formats and sent by reputed courier only to avoid inconvenience.
  • Tracking of courier documents send & received from sales department.
  • Travel bookings & meetings of Sales Engineers & Sales Head, facilitation in internal & external meetings, taking minutes of Meeting, action plans, follow-up with concerned colleagues.
  • Travel occasionally – Local as well as National

 Customer care

  • Identify and deliver how to grow and retain business with Customer
  • Establish and maintain an in-depth understanding of the Customer including: market position; Customer strategy; platform strategy/technology roadmap; commodity purchasing; competitor activities, organization.
  • Strive for excellence in all sales processes especially those interfacing Customers



Job Requirements


  • Technical knowledge concerning brake systems

  • Education: Any Graduates from reputed institution 

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral English
  • Additional German or French will be an added advantage
  • Should be self starter, process driven, well organized
  • Energetic & Passionate about Sales,  and about new market/ new applications etc
  • Willing to travel extensively – max 3 weeks in a month.
  • Build and maintain Good customer relationship
  • Flair to deal with various levels of people in customer’s organization
  • Ability to understand customers requirements , applications, process
  • Team player, cross-functional interaction with factory & design teams, overseas teams
  • Excellent knowledge of Power point & Excel
  • Conversant with various types of weekly/ monthly reporting
