Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will develop manufacturing packages including routers, drawings, models, and work instructions, machining, processing, and assembly.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
  • Read and interpret customer and industry specifications
  • Develop the entire manufacturing process: material selection, material treatments, work-holding, machining, finishing processes, etc.
  • Develop standard work documents which drive the manufacturing process: drawings, models, assemblies, etc.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve, trouble shoot quality issue, and provide technical information.
  • Maintain proper documentation (traceability, customer requirements) and complete production routers
  • Utilize problem solving skills to an engineering position
  • Perform root-cause analysis and develop solutions
  • Perform manufacturing analysis on orders

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • BS degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role in a documented and specification industry
  • 5+ years of experience working with CNC or Manual machining
  • Demonstrated ability to: review customer engineering, and create routers, drawings, work instructions for Production and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated ability to: create standards and engineer solutions
  • Demonstrated Project management experience
  • Experience using a modern CAD system PartMaker®

 

Our ideal Manufacturing Engineer may also have experience in the following:

  • Experience with Aerospace/Defense/OEM specifications
  • Experience with Oracle ERP System
  • Experience in a Lean manufacturing culture
  • Knowledge of Machining including Milling, Lathe, Grinding, Heat Treatment & Assembly
