Education and Experience:
- Proven experience as material handler
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- High school diploma or GED
Skills:
Language Skills – The ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, general business periodicals, professional journals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical and procedure manuals and government regulations. Ability to write routine reports, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and business correspondences. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees and managers, customers, clients, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability – Must exhibit common sense ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and ability to deal with problems involving abstract and concrete variables. Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
