Job Description

This person is responsible for developing a definition of the project. The Project Manager then ensures that the project is delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality standard (within agreed specifications). He/she ensures the project is effectively resourced and manages relationships with a wide range of groups (including all project contributors).The Project Manager is also responsible for managing the work of consultants, allocating and utilizing resources in an efficient manner and maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful team. 

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Coordinate internal resources and third party vendors for project execution • Single point of contact-be accountable for project results
• Participate in internal inspection and ensure all shipments meet and exceed the customer expectation.
• Assume the project management responsibilities for assigned projects which includes tracking the project's performance to budget, scope, schedule, and quality.
• Assist during customer visits with project management responsibilities.
• Prepare the Sales Order Digest (information that is required for engineering and manufacturing to proceed) for all projects with PM responsibilities that are awarded
• Manages purchase orders and contract administration
• Provide project schedule to identify when each critical task will be performed as defined by PM requirements. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Create MS project schedule including all engineering, and manufacturing chedules, payment milestones, delivery milestones, FAT, SAT etc.
• Keep the customer and Arrowhead Systems (AHS) management informed on progress and roadblocks to the schedule 
• Responsibile for leading project team meetings
• Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request paperwork 
• Lead, coach and motivate project team members
• Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle 
• Manage factory acceptance testing (FAT) process – internal and external 
• Complete a post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved
• Work with the project management team to develop tools and best practices for project management and execution
• Ensure all project documents are properly archived following project completion
• Communicates with Applications Engineer regarding approval for change orders
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs 
• Define and manage project risk
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Prepare financial and progress reports to communicate the progress of the project to management
• Responsible for order entry after the transfer of ownership at the technical review meeting following PO
• Ensure that payment terms, schedule and milestones all match the proposal and can be accomplished
• Responsible for accepting customer's PO and sending out acknowledgement letter
• Review and address any documents that are not part of the original RFQ package
• Enter information into SOD data base after conversion from OET
• Provide updated schedules to be discussed at weekly meetings
• Update production schedule before weekly production meetings to ensure all departments are on schedule.
• Set payment milestones in project schedule or PM workbook. Make sure that payments are received in accordance with agreed terms
• Make sure PDR checklist is completely filled out before the meeting and provide copies of PDR documentation to project engineer 24 hours before PDR for review
• Fill out action item list in SOD during the PDR and Excel action item list during technical review.
• Review approval drawing from Project Engineer and send to customer. Ensure that approved drawing and product matrix is returned by customer
• Responsible for completing detailed meeting minutes using template and publish to group.
• Set up meetings on production floor for project review and status updates
• Update MS project schedule weekly before production meeting • Manage all scope requests from customer and work with Applications to create scope change documents and costs as needed.
• Manage all internal ECN's and costs
• Responsible for reporting to the production meeting on  any overages in costs on projects.
• Meet with manufacturing to ensure that the product is available for testing/FAT
• Run equipment, test all product, for speed and operation • Work with customer to create agenda for FAT. Send all required documents to customer prior to arrive on-site.
• Schedule teardown & shipment with customer and internal team
• Work with A&B to develop install schedule if applicable.
• Be aware of any customer requirements on Gas/Electric equipment, site training, permits, pre-paperwork for employee etc.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school)
Experience: 5 plus years of experience in Project Management Experience with SAP, Oracle, or JDE
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Visual Mfg 

Certifications & Licenses:
PMP preferred
