WE HAVE POSITIONS IN THE HAMPTON ROADS AREA FOR DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS! 

VARIOUS HOURS & SHIFTS AVAILABLE

Group homes/ ICF Group Homes/ Adult Day Programs

Provide primary direct care and support to adults with mental retardation/intellectual disabilities, physical impairments and medical issues in an intermediate care facility. Ensures that all aspects of the clients’ plan are executed in a timely manner, attend assigned medical appointments & social outings. Schedules are Part Time and include weekends, evenings and overnights.

Qualifications


  • Position requires a combination of education and or experience equivalent to SIX MONTHS with adults who have intellectual disabilities.

  • Proficiency in documentation skills

  • Use of electronic health records required.

  • Proficient in reading, writing, math

  •  Computer skills required.

  • Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds.



Employee to provide the following at time of hire,


  • CPR/First Aid certification

  • TB test\

  • VA or NC driver’s license

  • DMV Record

  • Medication Management Certificate
  • TOVA Training
