Job Description

Mental Health/ Substance Abuse Clinician


Duties to include but not limited to the following:

  Responsible to provide case management services to individuals with mental health, substance abuse & co-occulting mental health issues.

Complete assessments, treatment planning, crisis planning as well as clinical intervention and supportive counseling.

Provide individual, group or family counseling

Perform case management functions related to service referrals, coordination of care and case documenation

Will be responsibility to provide monthly billable services and complete all documentation.

Job Requirements

Mental Health Substance Abuse Case Manager


Qualifications:

  • Requires any combination of education (above the high school level) and/or experience equivalent to seven (7) years in fields utilizing the required knowledge, skills and abilities and associated with such positions as Mental Health Counselor, Substance abuse counselor or Social Worker.

  • QMHP-A certification or eligibility required. To meet these requirements you must be licensed or have a Bachelor’s degree in human service field and one year of experience working directly with adult MH population.

  • Required to meet requirements for Virginia Certification

    Employees are required to provide the following at time of hire

 Certified Transcripts, CPR certification, TB test, VA or NC driver’s license, Car insurance and DMV record.

Base Pay: $22.36
