Job Description


Full Time Phlebotomist

Full time Phlebotomist needed for specialty physician office.   

Job Responsibilities

  • Obtain blood samples for medical testing through venipuncture or capillary puncture
  • Perform phlebotomy on adult patients
  • Follow infection control, safety procedures, OSHA and COLA regulations
  • Review of test orders
  • Centrifuge and specimen processing
  • Documentation of phlebotomy and specimens
  • Entry of patient data into EMR

Full Time Phlebotomist

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year phlebotomy experience in a physician office, hospital or clinic
  • Strong phlebotomy skills
  • Experience with EMR 
  • Strong inter-personal skills, and the ability to work professionally with patients, office staff and physicians
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
